Star of the series "Ted Lasso" and "Fargo", Juno Temple will play the lead role in the new drama series "The Husbands" from A24, which will air on the Apple TV+ streaming service, Varajte reports.
The series, which is set in London and based on the novel of the same name by Holly Gramazio, follows Lauren (Temple), who returns home one evening to find her husband Michael - a man she has never met before.
"As Lauren tries to figure out how she can be married to someone she doesn't remember, Michael goes to the attic to change a light bulb - and suddenly disappears. In his place, a new husband appears. Realizing that her attic is producing an infinite number of husbands, Lauren is faced with the question: if changing your life is as simple as changing a light bulb, how can you be sure you've chosen the right path? When do you stop trying to be better and start really living?" reads the series synopsis.
The series is executive produced by head writer Miriam Baty ("The Heirs," "Dead Ringers," "Beef"), head director Craig Gillespie ("I, Tonya," "Your Friends and Neighbors," "Pam & Tommy") and Annie Marter ("Guilt," "Nobody," "The Devil All Around Us").
Temple is best known for her roles as Keeley on the TV series "Ted Lasso" and Dorothy Dot Lyon on the TV series "Fargo." Her filmography also includes films such as "Venom: The Last Dance" and "The Offering."
