Lady Gaga will star in the sequel to the popular film hit "The Devil Wears Prada" alongside Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt.
The original film, based on the 2003 novel by Lauren Weisberger, followed Hathaway's character - a journalism graduate who lands a job at a prestigious fashion magazine, where she becomes an assistant to the intimidating editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (The Strip). The 2006 comedy was a huge success with critics and audiences, and a sequel was announced last year.
Now, according to Deadline, the singer is joining the cast in an as-yet-unknown role, after photos from the shoot recently emerged.
The film is set to be released on May 1, 2026, nearly 20 years after the original premiered, and will focus on Priestley as he tries to navigate the changing world of print journalism.
Gaga has successfully balanced her music career with a series of notable acting roles in recent years.
