Netflix's attempt to enter the anime film market has ended ingloriously for now, considering that the "Terminator Zero" project was canceled after the end of the first season.
The author of the anime series, Metson Tomlin, shared this news with followers on the social network X, noting that low ratings led to the cancellation of the project.
"The critical and audience feedback was great, but at the end of the day, not enough people watched the series," he wrote.
"I would like to deliver what I have planned for seasons two and three," Tomlin added.
"The series finale was special, and that was the biggest reason I got the job. I wrote all the scripts for the second season and detailed the plan for the third... I might return to that world in some other form. I really love that story and I was glad to see that some people connected with the series," the author said.
