Interactive production of “Pirates of the Caribbean”

Secret Cinema has announced plans for an immersive (interactive) production inspired by the “Pirates of the Caribbean” franchise, arriving in 2027.

Founded in 2007, Secret Cinema organizes immersive and secret film screenings that include interactive elements and live performances. Among their most successful events have been screenings of the film “Back to the Future” in a replica of the film town of Hill Valley, as well as a recreation of the Starcourt Mall from the TV series “Stranger Things.”

Now the company is bringing “Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl” to London in February next year through an immersive experience that, according to organizers, “invites audiences to step into a pirate celebration the likes of which is rarely seen.”

The production will feature huge film sets, live theatrical performances, spectacular stunts and a live band, creating “a true spectacle that brings the spirit, humor and adventure of the films to life.”

Over the course of ten weeks, fans will be immersed in the world of “Pirates of the Caribbean” with “the freedom to explore intricately crafted environments, meet iconic characters and become part of the story themselves. Each night brings an energetic adventure that culminates in a spectacular celebration worthy of the seven seas.”

With epic aerial acrobatics, fearless swordplay and a crew of your favorite pirates, there’s no better place to take audiences than to bustling Tortuga and aboard the Black Pearl for the ultimate movie adventure: Disney’s Pirates Of The Caribbean,” said Secret Cinema Artistic Director, Merit Ber.

This news comes after Orlando Bloom recently stated that he would like to see a full reunion of the "Pirates of the Caribbean" cast, including Keira Knightley and Johnny Depp.
