British rapper Aitch has announced a new Netflix documentary, "Aitch: Don't Be Afraid," which follows his humanitarian climb of Mount Kilimanjaro.
The film, directed by Aaron Fitzmaurice and Harry Tatham, will premiere on Netflix on July 26th.
The documentary follows the Manchester rapper's multi-day ascent to Africa's highest peak, which he accomplished in January 2025 together with friends, family members, and his team.
The humanitarian effort was organized to raise funds and awareness for the work of the Down Syndrome Association, of which Aitch is an ambassador.
Inspired by his younger sister Gracie, who has Down syndrome, the rapper raised more than £160.000 through this campaign, more than doubling the campaign's original goal.
According to the announcement, the documentary will depict the physical and emotional challenges of the climb, as participants face increasingly difficult conditions and the consequences of high altitude on their way to the summit of Kilimanjaro.
The film will also explore Aitch's relationship with his family, the influence his sister had on his life, and the work of the Down Syndrome Association with people with the syndrome and their families across the UK.
"We want to make a difference not only for Gracie, but for all people with Down syndrome, who have the same right to full inclusion in society as everyone else," Aitch said before the start of the climb.
The rapper supports this association through numerous projects, and became an official ambassador in 2022 after the release of the song "My G", which he recorded with Ed Sheeran.
A year later, on the occasion of World Down Syndrome Day, he also performed a parachute jump from a height of about 4.600 meters, raising more than 50.000 pounds for this organization.
Aitch released his second studio album "4" in June 2025, dedicated to his native Manchester, and earlier this year he was nominated for Best Hip-Hop Artist at the 2026 MOBO Awards, where he performed.
