British musician Elton John has said he will offer directors the chance to make music videos for his XNUMXs hits, which were released before music videos became popular.
On the occasion of marking the 50th anniversary of collaboration with composer Bernie Taupin, Elton John said that he will launch a contest on the YouTube network for authors who would make videos for the songs "Rocket Man", "Tiny Dancer" and "Bennie and the Jets".
As announced, the competition called "Elton John: The Cut" will last from January 9 to 23, 2017, and the authors cannot be younger than 16 years old.
Jury members, including John and Taupin, will select three winners, and the music videos will premiere next summer.
The winners will also receive a cash prize from YouTube in the amount of $10.000.
