Edo Maajka makes his first cartoon

Rapper Edo Maajka, who currently lives in Israel, plans to make his first cartoon, and Edo Medo is already working hard on sketches for the project.

"Med's fate in many ways coincides with my life. I guess I was the only Bosniak in the school shift when I moved to Zadar. Edo Medo goes through similar experiences as I did in my childhood", recalled the thirty-seven-year-old rapper.

The singer sought inspiration for his first cartoon in real people, so the friend of the main character Eda Meda is the fox Josip.

How similar the animated character will be to the famous singer Josip Lisac (66), Edo does not want to reveal yet.

"I haven't heard about that project at all," said the singer.

Josipa is an idea for a cartoon in which one of the characters, Lia Josipa, is cute, but she is not sure if she would lend her voice to one of the characters.

"We haven't worked out the animation, we just wrote the script for three sequels and we're waiting for the money to realize it all. The fox Josipa and the dog Sultan will help the refugee bear to get used to his new environment, school and friends and to find his home in Croatia", Edo revealed what his film will be about.

His partner, the writer Velimir Grgić, said that they would like to make a comic based on the cartoon, and then games for children.

Edo lent his voice to Sid the sloth in five installments of the cartoon "Ice Age".

He often watches Disney hits with his four-year-old daughter Jasmin, which is why he tries to make his heiress like his cartoons.

"By the end of the year, I should finish all the details and I will seriously start working on Eda Meda", promised the musician.
