This is what a kayak jump from an 18-meter high waterfall looks like

Kayaker Edward Mugridge filmed his "trip" down the 18-meter Tomata 2 waterfall on the Rio Halasingo in Mexico with a GoPro camera.

Judging by the video, it would seem that the best way to do this is to throw the oar.

The GoPro awards portal, which rewards those who record an event with a GoPro camera, states that this waterfall is "one of the scariest on the entire river."
