British Prime Minister David Cameron made a gaffe today, as he forgot which club he supports during a speech.
Cameron, who previously declared himself an Aston Villa fan, said today during the election campaign in South London that he supports West Ham!
What Cameron has not forgotten is that he supports the burgundy-light blue club, because these two Premier League clubs from Birmingham and London play in the same colored jerseys.
"Such things happen when you give a speech, when you go to the lectern... Simply, the tongue was faster than the mind. When the time comes when you have given a lot of speeches, some funny things simply start to "jump out" of your mouth," he said. Cameron.
He repeated that he started supporting Aston Villa in 1982, when the club from Birmingham beat Bayern Munich in the Champions Cup final.
During that period, his uncle William Dugdale was the chairman of Aston Villa.
