Three months after the election: Kolasin citizens celebrated the announcement of the results with football

In an original and humorous way, the end of the election process and the announcement of the election results were marked today in Kolašin, three months after the local elections on May 25. A group of pranksters, including councilor candidates, members of the Municipal Election Commission (MEC), athletes, members and supporters of several political parties ... organized a football match between the "Županovac" and "Đuđevina 27" teams. The team, named after the polling station, which has been mentioned a lot in the media for the past three months, where the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) lost one mandate in the repeated elections on June 8, and the Social Democratic Party (SDP) won a third mandate, winning convincingly with a score of 5:2. .

The players of both teams, in addition to showing an excellent game, entertained the fans during the game with witty comments and allusions to the events of the past months in the MEC and the legal and political entanglement, due to which a new government has not yet been constituted in Kolašin.

The coach of the "Đuđevina 27" team was Boško-Bole Rakočević, known for the fact that at the beginning of the year he published in the media a recording of a telephone conversation with the President of the Municipality, Darko Brajušković, and accused him of perjury. Rakočević told reporters that strict care was taken to ensure that every participant in the match from both teams had a biometric identity card, and that no one could enter the field with old documents.

"Also, the condition for my team to play this game was that they recognize our victory at least until the end of December. I can say that we have been seriously preparing since the repeated elections in Đudjevina. We also made preparations in that village, and we showed how good they were on the field. We are a serious team, we have a club director, the owner of the "Kričani" ranch, Nikola Rakočević, who is also a sponsor, while the job of the team manager is performed perfectly by Ivan Stojković," said Rakočević after the match.

In the "Đuđevina 27" team, the holder of the list of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) Đuro Milošević and member of the MEC in front of that party, Branislav Grujić, played. It is interesting that the goal of that team was the candidate of the Group of Voters, Željko Darmanović, whose party colleagues in the MEC, along with the members of the DPS, prevented the announcement of the final results and demanded another repeat of the elections in Đuđevina.

While the selector claims that Darmanović used the opportunity to play for the "opposing team" while the holder of the GB list Mile Šuković is on vacation, the goalkeeper who showed excellent skill in guarding the "Đudjevine 27" net claims that it is "neither a sports nor a political issue transfer".

At the end of the game, the captain of the defeated team, Nešo Vujisić, refused to concede victory to his rivals.

"We will lodge an objection. This is not over yet. We doubt that there were players with old ID cards. All this is irregular. It's about corruption", the captain of "Županovac" briefly commented.

However, the players did not hide their satisfaction that the match did not end with a score of 6:6. This balance of power in the MEC over the past months has created numerous difficulties during voting and "busy" the State Election Commission.
