Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Vienna the "smartest" cities in the world

Copenhagen, Amsterdam and Vienna took the first three places among "smart cities" (smart cities) in the world, which use innovative technologies in an intelligent and efficient way to reduce costs and energy consumption, expand the number of services and increase the quality of life of citizens.

As reported by tportal.hr, such an order of "smart cities" emerged from the latest research by American climate strategist Boyd Cohen.

This year, Vienna advanced from last year's fourth to third place on that list, thanks primarily to the launch of the new institution for urban strategies and technologies "TINA Vienna".

It also progressed thanks to the increase in the number of charging stations for electric cars to 400, encouraging the installation of solar panels in private households, as well as the development of a new media, science and technology center in Vienna's Neu Marx.

Among the top ten "smartest cities" are Barcelona, ​​Paris, Stockholm, London, Hamburg, Berlin and Helsinki.
