Mike Wodeby once weighed 209 kilograms, and his fatness depressed him so much that he often thought about how to take his own life.
However, 31-year-old Mike subsequently lost 114 kilograms, today he is a personal trainer and is in a happy relationship with a beautiful girl, Morgan.
He used to hide from the world and spend his days drinking huge amounts of alcohol.
"I lived at home, I ate cereal for breakfast, a sandwich for lunch and whatever my mom cooked for dinner. My obesity was not caused by food but by alcohol. I would drink a bottle of whiskey and six cans of beer every night. When there was no whiskey I would drink 18 beers , and that's about 3000 calories every day," Vodbaj told MailOnline, as quoted by Index.hr.
By the age of 29, Vodbaj had gained 209 kilograms, and one day he decided to commit suicide in order to end his suffering. But the suicide attempt opened his eyes and after that he decided to change his habits.
Today, he claims that no one should have to go through what he went through and allow themselves to become complacent to the point of becoming dissatisfied with their lives.
"After the suicide attempt, I woke up without a headache or pain, I felt bad because I was still alive. But after that I started to think that I am the only person who can change that," said Mike and added that after that's when he started training and lost 114 kilograms in a year and a half.
He removed the excess skin on his stomach and arms with surgery, and after that he started training in the gym to get his body in order. However, he claims that he still occasionally treats himself to fast food and a few beers on the weekend.
