An American robber's mother thwarted his plans

American Roy Mitchell set out to rob a gas station, but his plans were ruined by his mother.

Security camera footage shows this robber entering a gas station store in Mississippi and shortly after pulling out a gun and pointing it at the clerk, demanding that she hand over the groceries.

However, according to American media, Roy's plans fell through when his mother caught him. She snatched the gun from her son's hands and forced him to leave the store.

Mitchell's mother then asked the saleswoman not to call the police. Mother and son tried to run away together, but the police caught them very quickly.

To make the irony even greater, the police found an ordinary plastic gun during the search of Roy.
