Brigitte Bardot asks Kfor to protect dogs in Kosovo

Actress Brigitte Bardot appealed to KFOR commander, General Erhard Biller to "stop the massacre" of dogs in Pristina.

"I ask you to investigate the attacks committed on dogs in Pristina in the past three weeks and I call on you to stop this massacre," the French actress wrote in a letter to the KFOR commander who, according to her, is "responsible for establishing a safe environment in Kosovo."

"More than 200 dogs were killed, and dozens were subjected to prolonged agony," warned Brigitte Bardot and recalled that in 2007, the mayor of Prishtina responded to her appeal to prevent "brutal killings of stray dogs" in the city.

The actress recalls that even then she advocated the sterilization program.

"I expect you to act quickly to prevent the use of weapons and stop the killing," Bardo said.
