Ball monument to the famous German octopus

For a special animal and a special monument!

In the German aquarium in Oberhausen, a monument to the octopus Pol was presented, which gained world fame last summer when it successfully predicted the results of all matches at the World Cup in football.

Paul died at the end of October 2010.

Stefan Porvoll, general manager of the Sea Life Center in Oberhausen, Germany, which was home to the most famous octopus, said that he died of natural causes, that he was loved by everyone and will be truly missed by all of us.

Paul guessed all the results of the matches of the German national team, and then revealed that Spain will beat the Netherlands in the final.
