The waves of "Vijesti" radio have been current since the beginning of "Vijesti" television, but from tomorrow the first live show will start, which will be the first step towards a new program scheme.
The morning show "Morning Sounds" will be on the radio program every morning from 9 o'clock, and behind this project will be Ivan Vukčević, the former host of the highly listened to show "Uši Uvis" on Pro Radio.
"The show "Morning Sounds" was named in order to be in line with the name of the television morning program "Colors of the Morning". It is a four-hour program, which will start at 9 a.m. and end at 13 p.m." - Ivan Vukčević presented his project.
According to him, during four hours the listeners of Radio "Vijesti" will have the opportunity to find out a lot of news, useful information and, most importantly, to enjoy a lot of good current music.
We want as many people as possible in Montenegro to be up to date and to know what is happening at the most famous festivals in the Balkans. That's why we will cooperate with Exit, Demofest and Atlantis festival and cover the program of these events, exclusively for our listeners", says Vukčević.
"We will start the morning with service information, inclusion in the TV Vijesti weather center, as well as information from the desk and from the Vijesti portal. Of course, the emphasis will be on music, so our listeners will have the opportunity to enjoy good rhythms, to find out all the news, and we are also planning the promotion of current regional musicians," says Vukčević
"We will cooperate with publishing houses Menart from Croatia and Universal Music Serbia, so we will have an insight into all the news. Also, every Sunday we will have one or two music premieres, and every day we will make space for an interesting guest from the world of culture or entertainment ".
The author also announces phone calls by performers from various areas, and openness to local musicians who want promotion.
As part of the morning program "Morning Sounds", listeners will be able to find out what happened at regional festivals such as Demofest, Exit or Atlantis in Croatia, and Vukčević also announces cooperation with MTV Adria.
"We want as many people in Montenegro as possible to be up to date and to know what is happening at the most famous festivals in the Balkans. That's why we will cooperate with Exit, Demofest and Atlantis Festival and cover the program of these events, exclusively for our listeners", says Vukčević.
He did not want to say much about the reasons for his move from Pro Radio to "Vijesti" radio, but he added that the concepts of the "Morning Sounds" and "Ears Up" programs will be similar.
"Simply, Pro had his mission, which he fulfilled, and for me it's time to move on. News is the fastest growing media in Montenegro and that's where I found myself. I'm interested in radio journalism, because I think it's the number one music media in to the world. All the world's famous performers still present their new songs first on the radio, and then move on to television".
"Radio journalism is highly respected. And as for the similarity of the shows, it is great. It is true that "Sounds of the Morning" will last an hour longer, but I will still be focused on musical current affairs, premieres and presenting musicians who are of interest to the audience and who are doing something good. "There's not much philosophy, a lot of invention, the concept is always more or less similar," Vukčević said.
He added that the show "Morning Sounds" will be only the beginning of the live program of Radio Vijesti, and that more novelties are expected in the coming months.
