He'll get a steak: Watch how the dog chased the bear out of the yard

Mark Stinciano of New Jersey promised to give his neighbor's dog a steak for chasing a black bear out of his yard.

Stinciano told VABC-TV that his security camera caught what happened Tuesday night when the bear tried to take food from a bird feeder in the backyard of his West Milford home, the AP reported.

The video shows the bear knocking over a bird feeder when the neighbor's dog, Riley, runs into the yard, attacks the stunned bear, which starts to run away.

Riley's owner, Allen Tlasti, said his dog always chases away bears when he sees them in the yard.

Stinciano said Riley also watches over his children when they are in the pool.
