Astronauts returning to Earth tomorrow from the International Space Station in a Space X capsule will have to wear diapers because the toilet is broken.
American Space Agency (NASA) astronaut Megan MacArthur described the situation as not very optimal, but still feasible.
She and three other astronauts will be in the SpaceX capsule for 20 hours, from the time of entry on Sunday until they come down to Earth on Monday morning.
"Spaceflight is full of little challenges. It's just another one that we're going to face and take care of. We're not too worried about that," the astronaut said.
The problem with the toilet in the SpaceX capsule was already noticed before the private flight in September. The toilet was then repaired, but it was found to be unusable in orbit.
Together with Megan McArthur, Frenchman Tom Peske, American Shane Kimbrough and Japanese Akihiko Hoshide are returning to Earth.
