London's Madame Tussauds museum announced that in March of this year, they will exhibit a new wax figure of the deceased musician David Bowie.
The occasion is his 75th birthday, which was also marked by the release of a new edition of his fourth album "Hunky Dory".
Along with the news about the new sculpture that will join the existing one, photos taken in 1983, when Bowie was in the museum to have his measurements taken for the wax figure, were also published.
That, the first wax figure was exhibited in the same year, and it is so precise that with its help they managed to make a new one.
"David Bowie is one of the greatest musicians. The best way to mark his 75th birthday was to create a new figure for our friend," said Tim Waters, general manager of Madame Tussauds Museum.
Bowie was born on January 8, 1947 and died on January 10, 2016.
