Bobby from Portugal is the oldest dog in the world, according to the Guinness Book of Records.
Bobby, 30, is a purebred Alentejo Mastiff, a herding dog breed with an average lifespan of just 12 to 14 years, according to the Guinness World Records website.
He spent his whole life in a village in the central province of Leiria with the Costa family, reports N1.
"If Bobby spoke, only he could explain his impressive longevity," said Bobby's owner, Leonel Costa, 38.
The dog lives a fairly normal life - he sleeps through the night after a good meal. In winter, he likes to sit in front of the fireplace and warm up. In the spring, he likes to wander around the farm and through the nearby forest.
At 30 years and 266 days, today he likes to relax in his bed and by the fire after a meal.
