A woman from Zagreb was so scared of a spider she saw on the wall of her apartment that she called the Shelter for Uncared for Animals there, that is, Azil Dumovec.
The professional team immediately went out on the field, but the team from Dumovac was greeted by a domestic, harmless spider that still managed to scare the tenants with its imposing size. transmissions H1.
As they explain, it is a "wolf spider", a member of a family that includes more than 120 genera and 2.300 species. Wolf spiders are hidden at night and catch prey during the day. They have excellent eyesight. They are fast, and because of their large bodies and long legs, they seem intimidating to some.
"They are magnificent to us! We know they have an important place in the ecosystem. They feed on insects", they say from Dumovac.
The spider was successfully returned to nature.
