The twenty-second International Tamburitza Orchestra Festival will be held on July 29 and 30, 2025, at the town square in Bijelo Polje.
The Festival will feature eight renowned tamburitza orchestras from Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, North Macedonia and Montenegro, as announced by the Cultural Center in Bijelo Polje. The guests of the festival will be the Bosnian and Herzegovinian band ''Divanhana'', whose music carries a strong emotional charge, combining traditional sevdah with modern arrangements. For the first time at this festival, which has been gathering fans, not only performers, but also audiences from different regions for more than two decades, with the aim of preserving and promoting tamburitza music, one of the longest-running bands from Montenegro, Cetinje's Perper, will also perform.
The festival will be enriched with numerous accompanying programs that will begin on July 23rd, when the "Evening of Poetry and Songs" will be held, performed by poet Marko Milošević and singer-songwriter Boris Režak, followed by book promotions, art exhibitions and other cultural and artistic programs.
The ''Bijelopole Business Forum'' (BBF) will be held as part of the festival, bringing together businesspeople, guests from the diaspora and experts in the field of economics.
The festival is sponsored by the Municipality of Bijelo Polje, and the executive producer is the Public Institution Cultural Center ''Vojislav Bulatović Strunjo'' Bijelo Polje.
The festival was supported by the Ministry of Culture and Media of Montenegro.
