British singer Adele is currently renovating Sylvester Stallone's former Los Angeles estate, creating a home that will be completely different from the previous one.
The villa is spread over 3,5 hectares of land, and the home itself occupies more than 1.718 square meters. Although the house once had Italian style and Mediterranean charm, current work has erased all traces of Stallone, except for the pool with a statue of Rocky Balboa, which has been retained.
The house, which Stallone built in 1994 and was designed by architect Richard Landry, had eight bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a movie theater, gym, spa, art studio, bar, special smoking room, garage and panoramic views of Los Angeles.
The master bedroom was equipped with a private office, terrace, luxurious bathroom with two bathtubs, sauna and steam room, while the two-story guest room also had a fully equipped kitchen.
Adele began renovations in 2022, and they are expected to take several more years, partly due to the fires that swept through Los Angeles in January 2025 and stricter building standards in the high-fire risk zone.
The cost of the work could exceed $50 million, which is close to the amount Adele paid for the house.
When the renovation is complete, the house will be modern and tailored to her style, and Adel will live in it with her son and long-time partner.
