Actor Mark Wahlberg has shared details of his famous fitness regimen that starts at four in the morning.

The 54-year-old actor has launched a new YouTube series called “4AM Club Challenge,” in which he brings in various content creators to his workout who try to do his routine, which includes more than a dozen exercises.

"This is not a normal workout. It's early, it's intense, and it's like a game," Wahlberg told Men's Health.

"We train, we laugh and we see who is really ready for this."

In the first episode, which featured a guest appearance by YouTuber Brent Rivera, Wahlberg revealed that he spends three minutes in ice water before a workout to prepare his muscles.

"It used to take me 30 to 40 minutes to work out in the morning. Now, after an ice bath, I'm ready to go right away. The pain and stiffness go away, and the energy lasts for hours," he revealed.

He also explained that he trains five times a week, and Thursday, he says, is one of the hardest days because it is reserved for legs.

During the workout, he demonstrated a 14-exercise routine, including cycling, squats, lunges, ab exercises, and various leg and gluteal machines.

Wahlberg also said that his goal is to complete as many tasks as possible before the workday and family obligations begin, considering that he and his wife Riya Durham have four children.

Finally, he jokingly said that it's important to constantly "stare the problem in the face" when you want change, explaining that this way he stays motivated to work on the parts of his body he wants to improve.
