Actress Shannon Elizabeth, best known for her role in the film "American Pie," reportedly earned more than $1 million in her first week after joining the OnlyFans platform.
According to media reports, this earnings come at a time of major life changes for the actress, who recently filed for divorce from her husband Simon Borchert, whom she married in 2021. She is currently staying with a friend while she tries to resolve her housing issue.
"I need to find a place to live. I haven't decided where I'm going to live yet, whether I'm going to buy or rent an apartment... I also need to get all my stuff out of storage," she told Page Six earlier.
Although her OnlyFans profile is seeing a daily increase in followers, Elizabeth points out that the money has not yet reached her directly. Despite this, she says that people are already contacting her with requests for financial assistance.
Speaking about her decision to join the platform, the actress emphasized that she wanted more control over her career:
"I've spent my entire career in Hollywood, where others controlled the narrative and outcome of my work. This is a new chapter - an opportunity to show my sexier side and be closer to my fans."
Elizabeth was one of the recognizable actresses of the early 2000s, with roles in films such as "Scary Movie" and "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back," in addition to the "American Pie" franchise.
She states that her new financial situation may allow her greater freedom in choosing future projects, as well as the opportunity to try her hand at directing and producing.
She plans to direct part of the proceeds to humanitarian causes, through the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation, an organization dedicated to protecting endangered animal species and their habitats.
"I can direct certain things I do on the platform to charity, and that's exactly what I plan to do," the actress said.
