On the occasion of May 21st - Montenegro's Independence Day, a traditional torchlight procession organized by Montenegrin fans was held tonight at Sastavci in Podgorica.
A large number of citizens gathered to mark one of the most significant dates in the country's modern history with torches and fireworks.
After the torchlight procession, they sang the Montenegrin anthem.
The atmosphere was festive and patriotic.

A group of citizens lit torches on the roof of one of the buildings in the very center of Podgorica, where a concert was being held to mark the 20th anniversary of the restoration of Montenegro's independence.
The torches were lit at the exact moment when the song "Montenegro Jazz" by the group Perper was heard from the stage at Independence Square, and after the torchlight ceremony, those present also sang the song "Goro Moja" by the same band.
