British musician Elton John has announced that he will publish his autobiography in 2019. He described the process of writing his memoirs as "cathartic".
Sixty-nine-year-old Elton John is collaborating on writing a book with music critic Alexis Petridis.
The musician said he "realized how incredibly privileged he was to live a crazy life" and that his life had been "an incredible roller coaster ride."
During his five-decade long career, Elton John won five Grammy Awards and won an Oscar for the song "Can You Feel the Love Tonight."
Among the most famous songs composed by the British musician are "Rocket Man", "I'm Still Standing" and "Tiny Dancer".
