"Written": We are all sinners, some minor, some major

The Podgorica rap group "Otpisani" is the new representative of Montenegro at the regional rap competition "Hip Hop Network", in which contestants fight for a prize of one thousand euros.

The composition consisting of Luka Bulatović, Bobo Minić and Lamin Šainović participates with the song "Fear", which can be listened to on the YouTube service. Music is by Petar Žugić, and mixing and mastering by Nemanja Gorašević.

The competition will last until the end of the year, when an expert jury will select the finalists based on the number of YouTube views, the audience's reaction to the songs and the personal taste of the jury members.

The finalists will have the opportunity to present themselves live to the audience at a promotion that will take place at the end of the year, and then the audience will vote to choose the winner of the main prize.

Bulatović told "Vijesti" that "Otpisani" entered the competition aware of strong competition, because among the numerous participants from surrounding countries there are well-known and experienced names to rap fans such as Đare, 3Man, Nidža Bleja...

"The song was created when we went outside one day and talked about how it would be good to break into the story for the 'Hip Hop Network', Bobo Minić agreed and we started. The first question was: 'What if we don't get caught? ". We entered that story as outsiders, it's like - we have nothing to ask for, we're from Montenegro. But we can try and we're here now to fight to the end," said Bulatović.

When asked why he thinks they have no chance because they are from Montenegro, the rapper answered "because the state of rap in the country is nothing". He expressed the hope that Otpisani will enter the finals of the competition, but also added that if that does not happen, it is certainly an honor for them to be in the company of rappers who have been on the scene for a long time and who have left their mark.

"In the song we talk about a lot of things that bother us and what surrounds us. This text was written in the city center, on a bench, we watched what was happening and got a good idea. It simply talks about the fact that we are all sinners, some minor, some bigger", emphasizes Bulatović.

The finalists of "Hip Hop Network" will be chosen by a jury consisting of a member of the cult Belgrade rap group "C Ya Marko", one of the most famous Serbian beatmakers Jan Zoo and a representative of the younger generation of rapper Jovic Dobric. In addition to "Written Out", the Budva rap band "Most Wanted" from Montenegro also participates.

The written off have several songs behind them, and the last one is "Play for the nation", dedicated to Montenegrin athletes, which was published at the beginning of last month.

It is still possible to register for the "Hip Hop Network" competition on the Facebook page of this organization, and all rappers from the Balkans are invited.
