Del Arno band, El Kachon, Alex Kelman and Heckler DJ's are new names that will join the list of performers of this year's Bedem Fest published so far, which is very varied in terms of genre, "Vijesti" exclusively learns.
Belgrade's Del Arno is well known to the local audience, it is a pioneering reggae band at the ex Yu venue, while the organizers introduced a little extravagance to the line-up by bringing the Slovenian blues rock band El Kachon (last year's finalist of the Zaječar guitar festival) in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Montenegro Electro pop trio Alex Kelman, who comes all the way from Siberia, is also on fire.
New at this year's Bedem is the Electro stage, which will be dedicated exclusively to electronic music, and the program on this stage will take place from 23 pm to XNUMX am. The first confirmed performer of the Electro stage is Heckler DJ'z from Belgrade, and the organizers promise to host renowned names from the DJ scene from Montenegro and the region. Another stage will be installed in the festival camp, called the Chill Out zone.
The organizers announced that the stay in the camp, which will be able to accommodate a minimum of 500 people, will be free for all those who have tickets for the festival. Work on the construction of the camp is coming to an end.
The ticket price for all four festival days is also known, which will cost 23 euros from August 1 to September 12. The list of outlets will be published later.
The organizers will also provide 90 return tickets for festival visitors, 30 for people coming from Podgorica, 20 from Bar, and the rest for the audience from Bijelo Polje, Kolašin and Mojkovac. It was announced earlier that visitors who come to the festival by bicycle will be able to enter the Wall for free.
Those interested in train tickets, staying in the camp and early purchase of tickets can contact the organizers via their official Facebook page or email address bedembike@gmail.com, the organizers said.
This year, the sixth edition of Bedem Fest will be held from September 3rd to 6th at the fortress of the same name in Nikšić under the slogan "Peace brother, peace", and earlier it was confirmed that Disciplina šipke, Josipa Lisac, Marcelo, Irish Stew, Dža ili bu will perform. Kanda Kodža and Nebojša, Autogeni trening, Gospoda Glembajevi, Xander & The Keys and others. The festival program will start at 18:3 on September 19 with a parade of the Military Band from the main city square to Bedem, where at XNUMX:XNUMX the opening ceremony will be held with a cocktail for partners and friends of the festival.
"We will publish the schedule and the entire online app on August 22, and tomorrow we will launch the first promo film. There is great interest in the festival in the region as well, where we receive almost daily messages not only from the audience, but also from the media who have announced that they will follow Bedem Fest, and among which are Serbian Radio 202 and RTS 2, Croatian Radio 101 and Slovenian Radio Student. Food and drink prices will be very favorable both in the camp and in the festival area, and the organization of the space this year will be a big surprise for visitors, so I invite them to come and enjoy in a new vision of our fortress, new stages and total musical madness from September 3 to 6," festival director Petar Šundić told "Vijesta".
Bedem Fest started six years ago as an event that brings together musicians from Nikšić, and over the years it has bought the public with the rarely seen enthusiasm of members of various subcultural city groups, with whose help the festival has become a multi-day event that brings together regional stars and foreign performers of numerous genres and is held within the September Days of Culture.
This year's edition of the festival will contain the biggest changes and will be the biggest yet.
