The full Great Hall of Podgorica KIC Budo Tomovic welcomed the Bosnian-Herzegovinian artist Amira Medunjanin tonight, and she herself was surprised by the large number of visitors.
She pampered the fans of sevdah right at the beginning by singing "I have one wish". After that, Amira expressed her desire to turn on the lights so she could see the audience and asked those present to sing with her.
"It's a shame that I don't perform here more often, because Sarajevo is only five and a half hours away. And that I don't sing some pop or rock music, so that I can take a picture from the stage so that the audience can see it. I still looked good. But no it goes with this music," Medunjanin joked and revealed that her left palm itched, which made everyone in the hall laugh.
"Stade se cjeveno rom kititi" was already sung by the audience, who did not spare their voices, and Medunjanin threw everything into sevdah when she performed "Sejdefu majka buđaše" and revealed that she loved that song a lot when she was little.
As the concert progressed, so did the atmosphere, and a real "dernek" was created when she sang "Jovano Jovanke", "Hajde Jano", "Što te nema", "Kiša pada, gras rašte"...
Her guest at the concert was accordionist Peđa Janković, with whom she worked in London in 2012, and tonight they performed together "The dawn of September has not yet come".
For the encore, the musician left Miladin Šobić's "Instead of stupidity" and thus delighted the audience once again.
This time, too, Amira prepared a relaxed evening to remember, in which everything was allowed, and besides the song, there was no shortage of laughter, applause, or tears.
