Momčilo Bajagić-Bajaga released the new song "Youth" which he composed for the musical "Marriage and Marriage", recently in the repertoire of the Belgrade Theater on Terazije.

"Every good musical usually has a song that lives outside of it, and I thought that 'Mladost' was the best choice. In 'Marriage and Marriage' all the songs are sung by actors, but since 'Mladost' suits my voice well, I decided to record it and publish it," says Bajaga.

The musical directed by Vladimir Lazić was based on the work "Marriage and Marriage" by the famous Serbian comedy writer Jovan Steria Popović (1806-1856). The songs were written by playwright Željko Mijanović.

Along with long-time producer Voja Aralica, Bajaga was assisted in the work on the music for "Marriage and Marriage" by instructor keyboardist Saša Lokner, who was in charge of arrangements and orchestration, instructor guitarist Marko Nježić-Kića, as well as guitarist of the Absolutno romantno band Zoran Alvirović-Kina. .

"In the song 'Youth', since it is in the Vojvodina string style, all the tambourines and other things are played by Kina, my friend who also guested on the music for the film 'Professionalac'," says Bajaga.

Bajaga singles out "Youth" as a song that perhaps best represents the spirit of "Marriage and Marriage", and which can be listened to outside the context of that musical, and points out that it is his homage to a great singer-songwriter - Arsen Dedić.
