The video for "Igranka", the song with which "Who See" from Kotor and Nina Žižić will represent Montenegro at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, has surpassed all other participants in terms of views on the official YouTube channel of the competition.
"Internet, eh internet", commented Dejan Dedović Deda on the viewership of the video for "Igranka".
The video was viewed by almost 450 people in just a few days, so it became the most viewed Eurovision video, surpassing the number of views of the Austrian song, viewed around 350 times, which was uploaded to YouTube four weeks ago. The comments of those who watched the video are excellent, and people from all over Europe commented on it.
"I'm glad that we intrigued the public, that's why we're here... The work we do is public, and we had the task of creating a dedicated song (which we've never done before) so it's a pleasure to somehow get good results .
I would be lying if I said that I didn't pay attention to the comments of people from Yugoslavia and Europe, however, that is only one part of the whole that all "musicians suffer" from both good and bad comments. The Internet, eh the Internet," he commented on the viewership music video for "Igranka" by Dejan Dedović Deda, part of the duo "Who See". In his opinion, the attention of the audience is attracted, first of all, by the high quality of the work done.
Quality for little money
"I wouldn't know what attracted the most attention. I guess it's the quality of each individual segment. I won't be modest, I think the project was done very well for little money," added Deda. Expectations, he admits, are high, but he does not want to make predictions.
"I would like, when we are already here, to make as big a surprise as possible. All forecasts are ungrateful, so I will not predict the future," says the Kotor rapper with a smile.
According to bookmakers, Montenegro still has a small chance of winning the Eurovision Song Contest
As Vijesti previously wrote, more serious preparations for the performance in Malmö will begin on March 25. Grandpa says about the stage performance:
"There are general plans, but we will be deprived of many things that many other countries will have on stage. This is solely the fault of the financial side of the story, and everyone knows that we do not live luxuriously and that it is a miracle that we even submitted a song for the Eurovision festival at a time when many countries canceled it.
We will do our best to make our performance on stage look at least partially as you expect. One thing is certain, there will be only three of us on stage, confirmed the member of "Who See" once again.
The next plans are related, as he says, to "eventual promotions (finances), practice", and when asked if he will promote the track somewhere outside the borders of Montenegro, Deda answers briefly: "I wouldn't talk about those finances anymore".
According to bookmakers, Montenegro still has a small chance of winning the Eurovision Song Contest, and "Igranka" moves from 30th to 35th place.
This year's Eurosong will be held on May 14, when "Who See" and Nina Žižić will perform in the first semi-final. The final evening is scheduled for May 18. The Montenegrin delegation at the Eurovision Song Contest, together with "Who See" and Nina, will consist of Zoran-Zonjo Marković who will be the director of the stage performance, Lidija Backović as the head of the delegation, Sabrija Vulić in the role of PR and RTCG cameraman.
