Marko Prentić, a former member of "No name", who has been building a solo career since the breakup of that band, also tried his hand as an instrumental author. His composition "Silence" was included on the compilation "Montenegrin Instrumental Forces 2", which was published at the end of last year.

"The plan is to realize several more similar compositions"

"In addition to classical music, which I have been playing for years, I also got and sought inspiration in film music. I have always been attracted to composition and it was with this compilation that I wanted to release "Silence" as the beginning of my instrumental work," reveals Prentić.

In addition to Marko, this track was also performed by one of the best Montenegrin guitarists - Saša Stojanović. About how the cooperation came about, Prentić says:

"I have been working with my friend and colleague Saša for some time. We performed as a guitar duo on a couple of occasions. At one of the rehearsals, I played him the theme "Silence", which he really liked, and he made a great contribution with his experience and excellent playing. That is just one of our projects," says Marko.

Instrumental album great desire

He plans to include colleagues from the Music Academy in the work on his instrumental album, with whom, as he says, he is preparing interesting projects. Prentić promises that he will not stop at this instrumental.

"Working with students has always been a great challenge and a very responsible job for me"

"The plan is to realize several more similar compositions, so I hope that I will be able to combine all that material on one release. I would very much like to achieve myself in this genre as well. That album is certainly my goal and a great desire," he admits.

Marko does not neglect his singing career either. The single "Ana" released this summer, which is playing on radio stations, also announces a music video.

"The premiere of the video should be soon, and I plan to delight my audience with another single in the spring," he promises.

Prentić teaches guitar at a music school, and about that experience he says:

"Working with students has always been a great challenge and a very responsible job for me. For years, I have attended quality seminars and classical guitar festivals, worked with excellent pedagogues, and I really try to pass on my knowledge and efficient way of working that I have acquired to students.

So far there have been results. "Students of my class have been awarded several times at the national competition," boasted Prentić.
