The new single made by the Montenegrin singer Maria B (Marija Božović) after only a week of its premiere on the MTV channel, was on the list of the 20 best videos from the region.
As a new entry single, it positioned itself on the tenth place "Domaćica", the MTV regional hit list, and in order to progress to the top, it needs the support of the audience, who can vote on the website http://www.mtv.rs/top-liste/domacica.
The first position this week on the MTV top list of regional hits "Domaćica" was taken by the Slovenian young band "Trash candy" with the track "Remember", with which they announce the imminent release of their new album.
Music for the single "Misbehave", a combination of hip hop and r'n'b with a touch of soul, was written by hip-hop musician Sky Wickler, the beats were designed by MC Rhino, while the lyrics were written by Maria B herself.
The director and producer of the video is Vladimir Toni Pendo, while his brother Danilo Pendo was in charge of the camera. In addition to the young artist, her colleague DJ Relja also appears in the video, and the script and choreography in the video were designed by Maria with the help of her sister Jelena Božović.
For the last two years, Maria B was one of the headliners of the hip-hop festival Asfaltiranje. She is also recognizable for her collaboration with the band Who See, this year's nominees for MTV Best Adria Act.
With Noyz and Deda, she recorded the hit singles "Bar-Bari" and "Reggeaton Montenegro" for their current album "Krš i drača".
Maria B has so far released one album with the unusual name Unannounced.
