Published book about Margita Stefanović Maga

The book "Feelings. About Memories" by Lidija Nikolić is a bold work dedicated to Margita Stefanović Maga, the keyboardist of the cult Belgrade group "Ekaterina Velika". In the opinion of some the best keyboardist, in the opinion of others the sexiest rocker, Margita Stefanović certainly represents the icon of the ex-Yu music scene in the 80s and 90s.

Lidija Nikolić, Margita's best friend, and in this case the author of the work, reveals to us details from her musical career and the starry path to fame that she followed, but also the bitter moments on that path. Through her biography, the author reveals the origin and essence of her talent, as well as everything that made her a versatile, unique, rich and exceptional personality.

With an abundance of hitherto unpublished photographs, documents, diary entries... the story of friendship develops, from a carefree childhood, all the way to Margita's tragic end.

Through several episodes, this book illustrates what fame actually meant in Yugoslavia at that time and what it brought to its bearers, it talks about what happened on stage under the spotlights, and what happens when the spotlights are turned off and the actors leave the stage.

The author of the biography, Lidija Nikolić, writer and professor, was born on April 24, 1960 in Belgrade. She graduated in 1983 from the group for General Literature with Theory of Literature at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade.

Since then, he has been writing for children and adults and publishing prose, poetry, radio dramas, screenplays, literary presentations, essays and translations from English and Slovenian. He is a contributor to daily newspapers, literary magazines, radio and television. It is represented in several anthologies of children's stories.
