"Hladno pivo" is playing in Podgorica on June 23 and 24, which is the first visit of this band to Montenegro. The group's frontman Mile Kekin told "Vijesti" that he is looking forward to finally visiting these parts.

"We are a little torn because of our first concert in Montenegro because we feel the need to present the new album 'Svijet glamura', as well as to look back at the songs from the previous ones, so we will combine it.

There are two performances, because it was the decision of our organizer for Montenegro, who explained to us that the terrace of the KIC receives exactly as many people as we receive. Also, we will have plenty of time to get to know the city and its surroundings.

"People know when there's someone on stage who believes in what they're singing"

We will combine tourism with a concert and it's a great combination", he said, adding that he hopes the audience will come in as many numbers as possible, and that he is not afraid of their reaction.

"The reaction will be a mix of delight and disbelief. We have no problem with the audience. We are a band that puts its heart in the palm of its hand and it is returned. People feel that at the concert, no matter where we play, whether it's in Austria, Germany, Montenegro or Macedonia.

People know when there is someone on stage who believes in what they are singing, so I hope it will be the same for you", said Kekina, who added that they did not ask their colleagues about concert opportunities in Montenegro.

Even the right-wingers do not react

"We don't talk to colleagues, we are a closed group, more or less a tribe, we don't have any big contacts with colleagues and we don't really care what they say," Kekin explains.

"We live in countries where you can call whoever you want"

The last album of his band, "Svijet glamura", talks about the current situation in Croatia, and when asked if they had problems with the political elite there, Kekin answers:

"We live in countries where you can call whoever you want, as far as political elites are concerned, no one cares anymore. It is obvious that it is not so brave to be politically engaged now, as it was during the former Yugoslavia. We sing about what more or less everyone knows - that the government is corrupt, that bribery and corruption reign everywhere.

Of course, at concerts we like to spice it up with comments before the songs, so that everyone can understand what we're singing about, because there are those who don't understand the point at all, so we have to bring it a little closer to them. And we never had any problems.

Even the parties we sing against, which are the right-wing ones, have never reacted. We live in the mp3 juke box generation where everyone listens to everything, so people have Googled everything. We have never had a problem because of our texts and attitudes, and I think that progress can be felt in that field".

"I also like movies where people love each other"

Kekina, who was noticed by fans of TV series in the sitcom "Badgers and Princesses", where he played the character of Ertoman Sasha, says that he also likes to watch this type of film in his private life.

When asked what they will visit first when they come to Podgorica, Kekin points out that it will be the Morača river

"I also like dramas, but also movies with action, sci-fi, and of course those where people 'love each other,'" he says with a laugh.

Although busy with professional duties, Kekin says that he has time to devote himself to his family, primarily to his son.

"The woman has a normal job, I have an abnormal one during the weekend, but I find time for everything. It's not such a big problem when people love each other," emphasizes Kekin.

When asked what they will visit first when they come to Podgorica, Kekin points out that it will be the Morača river, because he has heard of it, as well as Lake Skadar.

"We are planning a swim in Morača, but also a good trip to Lake Skadar," he emphasizes.

The "Cold Beer" concerts will be held tonight and tomorrow evening from 21:10 p.m. on the terrace of KIC "Budo Tomović", and tickets can be purchased at the ticket office of this institution at a price of XNUMX euros.

Beer is pleasant, but it forces you to drink

"Hladno pivo" recently recorded a video for the title track of the album "Svijet glamura", which will be premiered on Monday on MTV Adrija.

We drink beer before and after the concert

“It's one of our best videos. It was made by a young team from Split, and it shows the sick world of glamour. Many have asked us what it will be like, and we say just listen carefully to the text and everything will be clear to you. I hope that we will also present it on local TV stations in Montenegro", he reveals.

When asked how the members of "Cold Beer" react when they are brought beer that is not cold in the cafe in summer, Kekin says with a laugh: "We don't really like it." Again, it is not good when the beer is too cold, when it is kept deep in the freezer, preferably when it is somewhere in the basement.

We drink beer before and after the concert, but such that we don't have to immediately go for a drink, because it's a bit awkward when you have a concert and you have to go to the toilet".
