The characteristic hum of the amplifier, the instruction "Don't A major, please!" Nemoj A major", then counting with batons to the legendary "one-two-three..." and with the band roaring, the penultimate rehearsal of the longest-running Montenegrin rock group begins before the performance in KIC.
Goran-Gula Pejović and his faithful "Catapult" spent almost a month in the basement of Lamela, rehearsing for hours a program that should once again confirm them as a first-class domestic concert attraction. The trump cards are immediately on the table - Gula's catalog of hits, the band rehearsed and played "da kosa opada", and an extraordinary reinforcement in front of the microphone - Renata Perazić!
"We have prepared a concert that will last at least two hours. We will play 23 songs, I tell the people of Podgorica that they will not remain indifferent to what we have prepared for them," Gula laconically announces in the break between "Prolaze godine" and "Crna Goro".
There was no more time for the story: the songs were "ironed" until they were drawn out and the last sonic seam. You can immediately see that the arrangement has been refreshed, the sound is "blackened" thanks to the popular boss Bož Gagović, whose "fender tickles" and funk and reggae, "as needed". The keyboards of Miš Škuletić give the "pathos" but also the ceiling to these well-known "Catapult" hits, while Milan Milićević's thirds give the band rock.
The rumbling rhythm section is in charge of the roll - veteran Ratko Stanisavljević on drums and "recruit" bassist Marko Mirković. The culmination of this story will follow on Wednesday, April 27, the members of "Katapult" told "Vijesti" in unison.
The concert at KIC "Budo Tomović" starts at 20.00:XNUMX p.m., and tickets cost five euros.
