Darko Rundek and his Rundek Cargo Trio will perform on Sunday, March 27, in Podgorica KIC "Budo Tomović", his promoter "Long Play" announced. However, Rundek's spokeswoman, Maja Valjak, could not confirm for "Vijesti" with certainty that the concert will indeed take place.
"There probably will be, but I will be able to give official information about it only in a week," Valjak told "Vijesta".
By the way, Darko Rundek would perform at KIC "Budo Tomović" as part of the promotion of his new album "Blue Plane", released at the end of last year.
The concert in Podgorica would follow the Serbian mini-tour, during which the Rundek Cargo Trio will perform in Novi Sad (March 18 and 19), Zrenjanin (March 24) and Kragujevac (March 25). According to "Long Play", the list of cities in Serbia where Rundek will play will probably be expanded.
Darko Rundek last performed in KIC "Budo Tomović" in 2006, when he promoted his album "Mhm A-Ha Oh Yeah Da-Da!". Montenegrins, however, have fresher memories of his performance at the Festival of Nature and Culture, which was held last September in Virpazar.
"The impressions are wonderful. We played in Virpazar, in front of a really lively, open, interested, playful and intelligent audience. We hope to come again soon", Rundek commented on his performance for "Vijesti". That same audience, fans of Rundek's sound, can only hope to dance again on March 27 to the tunes created by the Rundek Cargo Trio.
