The production team from Montenegro "The Outvaderz", consisting of Reyez, DV and Mono, worked on the music for the song "Reinvented", which was on the first album of American rapper Big Omeezy.
"Big Omeezy's album TGC (The Great Communicator) was released last summer on Sick Wid It Records, the label of the legendary multi-platinum artist E-40. We met him online while he was promoting his first single "Parked". Sent we sent him a couple of beats and he chose one, which later ended up on the album as the "Reinvented" thing, one of the members of "The Outvaderz" Mono (Nikola Rajović) told "Vijesti".
"Reinvented" with a touch of 90's hip-hop
"The track "Reinvented" was chosen for the new single, the video was released on January 1 and is one of the first videos of the year. As a musical track, "Reinvented" is of a motivational character, conceived as new school with a touch of hip-hop from the nineties and quite different from of the sound that is currently emerging. The new hopes of west coast hip-hop, J Gib and Bueno, appear as guests," reveals Mono.
"The Outvaderz" has already made its way abroad
The production team "The Outvaderz" has already collaborated with foreign musicians.
"From domestic performers, we collaborated with the Kotor clapper "Who See?", and from abroad with Clap Cognac, an underground MC from New York, and Rich Hill, Tommy Hilfiger's son. Since "Sick Wid It Records" is an independent publishing house, behind us there is no heavy marketing machinery of major labels, so most of the promo activity has been done through non-corporate radio stations and hip-hop blogs. The TGC album can be ordered through Amazon, iTunes and other online shops," Mono said.
Big Omeezy has been involved in hip-hop for a long time, and is a member of the American Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers, whose ranks include some of the most famous names in music. The previous single from the TGC album was the track “Parked”.
"The TGC album is a reflection of dedication, loyalty, perseverance, hard work and life's obstacles," Big Omeezy describes his release.
