Singer Ljiljana Rančić, better known as Madam Piano, and Svemirko, a band from Croatia, will perform at the tenth anniversary Bedem Fest, the organizers announced.
"In anticipation of the anniversary edition of Bedem Fest, it is a pleasure to start with the announcement of the performers, because they are the ones who have always made us unique and different, among other things. We left the honor and privilege of opening a fascinating list of performers to her, the unjustly forgotten and neglected Madam Piano. It will be a real joy to enjoy her notes and surprises that she prepares for us for Bedem Fest", said Petar Šundić, director of Bedem Fest.
Madam Piano had her first performance in 1991 with actress Ana Sofrenović, and two years later she won the "Belgrade Spring" festival with the song "Sanjam". She collaborated with the band "Orthodox Kelts" on the song "Galija", and in 1998, in a duet with Boro Dugić, she performed the song "My Jasmine" at the "Song of the Mediterranean" festival. She retired from the music scene in 2003.
“What about the next name? A character who filled Dragstor and Tvornica, someone who commands great respect from an increasing number of admirers, an advocate of the philosophy 'less is more'. Authentic in his form of expression, someone who will surely lead us into the world of magic in the ambience of the Old City of Bedem and the ancient walls. It is 'Universe', a musical galaxy and infinity", pointed out Šundić.
The tenth Bedem Fest will be held from 2-4. August.
