In the show part of the first Zbrka fest, which will be held at Glava Zeta on May 1 and 2, in addition to the already announced performers, the bands "Bubnjivi" and "Punkreas" will also perform, the organizers of the festival announced.
"We are particularly pleased that, in addition to the revue part in which we will perform as local performers, the festival tends to take the leading place in the region for demo bands, which is of particular importance for Montenegro as a tourist and cultural destination. It is even more important for young bands who get a chance to present their work to a wider audience and, in addition, maybe win some recognition", said the members of the band "Bubnjivi".
"It is of key importance for the domestic alternative scene, and also considering that the festival is of regional character and for the alternative scene in general. It provides an opportunity for bands to connect with each other, make contact, collaborate...", they added.
Praises for Zbrka Fest also came from the band "Punkreas".
"We are glad that Montenegro got another rock and roll festival. And we are even more glad to be recognized by the organizers as a band that has something to say and show musically. We invite all lovers of rock and roll and nature to visit and support this festival, and leave this digital world for a moment and rest their heads", say the musicians.
"And we, as a band, will provide people with what we know best - punk rock energy", promise from "Punkreas".
Although many associated this festival with Danilovgrad, given that it is held at Glava Zeta, a few days ago a statement was published on the official website of that municipality in which it is emphasized that they are not behind the event.
On this occasion, the organizers of the festival announced that Glava Zeta is the border between the municipalities of Nikšić and Danilovgrad, and that the Tourist Organization of Danilovgrad invited them to a meeting in January. "At the meeting, we were told that Glava Zeta belongs to Danilovgrad, and that our festival fits perfectly into the planned activities of the Municipality, because 2019 is the year of many jubilees. At the meeting, the help of the Municipality was offered, both financial and logistical", said the festival organization.
"We are very surprised by the fact that the authorities in the municipality only now found out that the mentioned location does not belong to Danilovgrad, although three months ago they claimed the opposite and reassured us that Glava Zeta also belongs to Nikšić. We are even more surprised by the fact that the authorities only looked at the cadastre at the moment when we announced that one of the performers would be 'Fish Stew,'" the statement added.
From Zbrka Fest, they say that regardless of whether the Municipality supports the festival or not, "they will not distance themselves from the fact that a part of the festival program will also take place on the territory of Danilovgrad".
In addition to online, tickets for the price of 7 euros can be purchased in the coffee bars "Propaganda" and "Floyd" in Nikšić and "Obala" in Danilovgrad.
