An evening of "returnees" and debutantes

Even though it wasn't Wednesday, the winners of the Bunt rock festival showed that "raw rock and roll energy, mixed with current moods" can still sound "light" on Friday.

"For the first time, we are in Nikšić and at Bedem Fest. It's nice for us to play at the fortress. When you play the drum, when we are high, and the wind blows, we get the wind at our backs. We expect that you will call us next year as well, because we shook these walls", said Stefan Niketić, frontman of the band "Lagana sreda", who opened the second night of the festival, after the performance.

The "colors" of the bands from Nikšić this year were "defended" by the metal band "Vizant", which was their third appearance at the Bedem Fest.

"Bedem Fest is the second letter of Nikšić's identity, something that marks this city, a democratic festival in the region, and 'Vizant' is an example of that. This is a festival that I support and that does not divide anyone on any basis, only music, love, mood. I support this festival, which people carried on their shoulders", said the frontman of "Vizanta", Saša Zejak, after the performance.

According to him, Nikšić is a rock city, but not because it has the most rock bands, but because of the largest number of rock audiences.

"Thank God that there are rock bands that can compete with all the bands from the former Yugoslavia. I'm sorry that 'Vizant' had no competition for all four nights, so I invite Per (Peter Šundić) to put 'Vizant' next time somewhere where there are bands similar to mine, so that we can measure strength", said Zejak and added that their income will to donate from the festival to "people with special needs because it is "one way to help the inclusion of those people".

During the performance of the song "Kirie Eleison" the members of "Vizant" were joined by the official photographer of "Bedem Fest", Miloš Zvicer.

"Kanda, Kodža and Nebojša" are almost a local band, because their performance at the XNUMXth Jubilee Bedem Fest was their third. They are also the first well-known band to perform at Bedem, so, as Oliver Nektarijević said after the performance, they are glad that they somehow helped the festival grow into a "serious story that lasts for ten years".

"The fact that we were the first serious band to perform here means a lot to us, because we were a turning point for something that grew into something so phenomenal. It can only be a compliment to you that you participated in it at a time when it was in its infancy. Of course we have a very special relationship with this. This is a very important festival for us, perhaps the most important in the region because we played the role of a cornerstone", said Nektarijević, who during the performance called on the Ministry of Health to pass a decree and "send people to Bedem Fest for rehabilitation".

Nikšić called it the city of poets and admitted that in 2009, when they performed for the first time in the city under Trebjes, they had prejudices, thinking that "Nikšić is a place where they are unwelcome", a city where "dangerous guys from the other side of the law" live, but after 15 minute of the performance realized that Nikšić is a city where they will always feel like they are at home.

They, like "Vizant", played a part of the song "Kirie Eleison" and said "I will return, my cross promises", with them, at one point, the director of Bedem Fest, Petar Šundić, "shared" the stage, and the audience came back for an encore.

Partibrejkers also had a return performance at Bedem Fest, during which the traditional torch "colored" the city fortress.

"The heart must always be in the right place. This reality moves him from the center of gravity and then the heartless man, in debt, grumbles. Debts to someone, to yourself, to the environment. The heart is everything, the heart is love. Enthusiasts and pioneers have the heart to put forth all that effort and kudos to them. Rock and roll is eternal as long as the children are faithful to it," said Cane after the performance and encore.

The second night of the festival was "closed" by the Croatian band Svemirko, which neither the rain nor the audience bothered. They were invited twice for an encore, and during the performance of the song "Maybe I'm Not Good" they were joined on stage by Petar Šundić.

"Honestly, I was not overly familiar with the festival until now. I usually try to find out as little as possible about the festivals where we perform, because it puts less pressure on me. I come without expectations and then it's great," said Marko Vuković, frontman of "Svemirac".

Tonight, Vrulja, Eva Braun, Darko Rundek, Dr. Nele Karajlić and Who See are performing.
