Rundek and Nele Karajlić "set fire" to the Wall

The Wall of Nikšić "burned" last night. The fire was "lit" by Darko Rundek, and the "explosion" was caused by Nele Karajlić. And that in a doctor's way.

"It was unusual, interesting. This simply seems like a space for some small event, but the audience is so big that it was as if we were in a stadium. I have met the Nikšić audience several times and the most exciting was when we played in a pub. The audience is really full of heart and so much energy", said Rundek after the performance, during which the audience sang with him in chorus.

It wasn't just Rundek's eyes that were "penetrating" last night. His energy also "penetrated" to everyone who came to enjoy with "dark lilacs", to wrap themselves in a "silk scarf", to "ask in vain" for "Ena", to play "Apocalypse" with their "hands", to "not they are looking for love" and not "Carmela". And they got more than what they asked for. Encore, torchlight, musical spectacle. All in the arrangement of Rundek and "Team".

And then Dr. Nele Karajlić and "Depleted Uranium" appeared on the scene, or rather, won. Energy was "bursting", as one journalist said, in all directions. And it was difficult to "catch" her. As well as Nelo Karajlić. He was sometimes on stage, sometimes among the audience, teaching them rhythm and choreography, making up steps "with girls who smell like leather", pouring water on them, climbing poles...

"The last time I played in Montenegro was in the last century, so whatever happens will be good. This is my first concert in the 21st century in Montenegro. I played in Nikšić when Slobo was in power, and even though so much time has passed I have the feeling that now some old society should be found and that the old society should again share some new optimism, some new energy among themselves. So I expect it to be a kind of celebration of the prom night", said Karajlić before the performance.

And they found each other. He and the old company. But also the new one that wasn't even born when the "Smoking ban" swept across Yugoslavia. He admitted to Nele that he had not been to a better concert, and he had been to all the "No Smoking" concerts, that he had never had a "crazier" host than Petar Šundić, that Bedem Fest has a "flavor" that is hard to describe in words.

"Bedem Fest has its own flavor. This is an incredible setting. I played everywhere and in big serious halls and at gas stations and at weddings, but it was never as beautiful as here in Nikšić".

And the audience also admitted that they don't remember when they had such a good time as at Karajlić's concert, although Bedem Fest is known for concerts that are remembered and retold. Although, as he said, he is used to playing in Montenegro every 20 years and scheduled a new gathering with the same musical, organizational and "fan" line-up in 2039, everyone is convinced that the new celebration of the "graduation evening" will be much earlier.

The debut concert in Montenegro, although they have existed for more than 25 years, was given by the band "Eva Braun" from Beče. There were invitations, the band's frontman Goran Vasović Vaske admits, his roots pulled him, but "laziness" is to blame for everything. And I guess those Montenegrin genes.

"We always had such a lazy band. We hated driving for 12 hours, but I am very glad that we are in Nikšić, that we have finally made the break and that we are in Montenegro for the first time. If they had called me from Plužine, I would have gone there first. My father is originally from Plužine, and it was always a pleasure for me that there was any kind of audience in Montenegro, that I had some roots there. But this time it turned out that way, some dice were put together and it turned out really well, and in terms of the organizers who were really wonderful and in relation to everything that happened in connection with this festival, everything turned out so that in the end we broke down and decided let's come. After all, it's a great pleasure to be in such a company of bands and I hope that this is a springboard and that we will come again", said Vaske and admitted that the performance and the reaction of the audience exceeded his expectations.

The third night of Bedem Fest was "opened" by the winners of HGF, the promising Varaždin band "Vrulja", and "closed" by the well-known Montenegrin rap duo Who See.

"We are at the Bedem festival for the first time and we are honored to have been invited. The people of Nikšić are normally a good audience, used to concerts and good gigs. And the ambiance is phenomenal," said Dejan Dedović.

The final night of the festival, which celebrated ten years of existence with four-day concerts, was reserved for Bulke, Osma sila, Madam Piano, Bojana Vunturišević, Igor Vince and Đorđe Miljenović.
