The frontman of the Montenegrin rock band Parampaščad, Stefan Pantović, who performs under the pseudonym Stega, released a solo single called "The Dog Goes to Paradise".

Pantović, who is the main author of one of the most exciting rock groups in Montenegro, wrote, played, sang, recorded and mixed this song himself, which he said was created completely by accident and without great ambitions.

"I have a habit of making some bits in my spare time and that's how this thing started to be born - I made a bit and since I normally like the sound of synths, I started to play and paste synths through that 'east coast' drum, and in that at the beginning, I still looked at what was made only as an essence. It lasted like that for a day or two, and then one night late at night I was in the studio, I assembled the matrix and the groove itself reminded me of some interesting mornings, so I began to assemble the text, which stylistically is not exactly the same as the music, but he tied me to that period and I found a way to make them fit", the musician from Spuž recalled in a conversation with "Vijesta" how this track was created.

He added that "The Dog Goes to Paradise" has personal value for him and that it could happen that it won't reach the audience at all, but after the positive reactions, it is possible that we will listen to more solo works from Stega in the future.

"For me, this song is not a work of art, but it very successfully teleports me back to different times and events. It wasn't planned to be published, but again something persuaded me to share this thing with you, so if the inspiration for something like this happens to me again, I'll be happy to continue. I would like it to be like that, we will see", said Pantović.

Meanwhile, his parent band Parampaščad is working hard on their debut album, which should be released soon for Lampshade Media, and will be called "Na putu ka Suncu". A music video by bassist Momčilo Radulović is also being prepared, after the one for the song "Dan kad beše sve u redu", which announced this release this summer.

"We are satisfied, of course, with how that song went, but we are waiting for the album to be completed, so we can see how the audience will react to that whole," Pantović pointed out.

The band Bubnjivi & Psi, which consists of almost the same members as Parampaščad, is also working on the debut album, only it is led by Ivan Ivanović. And that edition should come out by the end of the year. Until then, several performances await them.

"Parampaščad and Bubnjivi & Psi will have a traditional birthday concert on Tuesday, November 19, in Podgorica's Montenegro pub, and then at the end of November we will break the ice in Macedonia. We will play in Kumanovo, more about that soon", announced Pantović.

We have a hot winter ahead of us with a lot of releases

Together with Ivanović, Pantović runs the studio Stivi, which every year through a competition offers young and talented Montenegrin musicians the opportunity to record their songs, and they also collaborate with many more experienced ones, so it can be said that they have a good insight into what is happening on the scene.

"I spend three quarters of my time in the studio and I enjoy it, working with young and experienced fellow musicians. I'm happy to see first hand what our scene has to offer. I can say that the debut album of singer-songwriter Anja Zagorac will soon be released from our kitchen. It is also a pleasure to work on Mikrokosma's second album, it will be very good and will be released soon. The band Rudolf has started recording its second album, we are working on a release by the talented singer-songwriter Vitez Đurović. We are not only bound by rock, soon two singles of one of the winners of our competition this year, Podgorica rapper Big Do, will be released. There are also two EPs being prepared by young rappers whose names I won't reveal, but one is coming out in the next few days and it's going to be damn good. It would be best if people follow Stevie's studio on social networks, because we have a hot winter ahead of us," said the musician.
