British musician Elton John was forced to leave the stage during a concert in Las Vegas due to rude behavior from a fan who disrupted the show, the artist's managers said.
Elton John said that a fan climbed on stage and came up to him and the piano and started hitting the instrument's holes while the musician was playing and singing.
"That person was rude and harassed me, she didn't show respect for my concert. I told her that before I was forced to leave the stage," John said.
The musician later returned and continued the concert, but there were no more fans around him.
The incident happened on Thursday night while John was performing the song "Saturday Night's Alright". As is customary during concerts, John invites the audience to join him.
The British musician, 70, has sold more than 250 million albums during his long career, and recently said he will retire after a tour that begins on September 8.
It is planned that the tour will last three years, during which they will hold around 300 concerts.
