The Montenegrin representative at the Eurovision Song Contest, Vanja Radovanović, had the first rehearsal with his team yesterday on the stage of the Altice Arena in Lisbon, where this competition takes place from May 8 to 12, and then held a press conference.

In a brief interview with "Vijesti" after the rehearsal, the singer-songwriter from Nikšić said that he was satisfied, but that it was just a warm-up.

"Since this is the first rehearsal, we mainly dealt with technical issues, adjusted the tone, the organizers designed the direction... We are satisfied with how everything went, and in the coming days we will devote ourselves to the remaining details," said the musician.

The first contact with the Eurovision stage did not change their plans, pointed out Radovanović.

"The stage absolutely suits us for what we have prepared. The scene is perfect, as is the technique, everyone can stand. The organizers are good hosts and everyone's goal is to make it sound and look as good as possible", added the musician.

He appeared on the stage in an unusual light blue suit, while in the background he is followed by four female singers in white dresses, with white feathers on them, representing them probably as angels, who move lightly around Radovanović. Everyone is dressed in the creations of Montenegrin designer Milena Đurđić.

The performance begins with a close-up of another member of the Montenegrin Eurovision team - Bol Martinović, the arranger of the song "Inje", who is positioned on the stage at the piano.

According to the descriptions from the official Eurovision website, the Montenegrin representatives did not hesitate to play with the light during the performance of the song, and the transitions from blue to yellow and red enhance the experience of the performance.

After the rehearsal, the Montenegrin musician had a media conference where he showed his humorous side, often jokingly answering the journalists' questions, which made the audience laugh more than once. So he declared that he finished Eurovision because he was bored.

"At Beovision 2006, some of my friends participated and I had nothing better to do, so I applied. And here 14 years later I did it again, but now I won. I never dreamed of appearing at Eurovision, I was just bored", said the musician and added that his favorites are Belgium and Albania.

The presenter reminded that Radovanović's career began with his victory at the Budva Festival, when he was declared the best debutant, but the singer-songwriter replied that it was nothing.

“That song isn't really a song. You want the truth: there were better songs than mine, but we in Montenegro do everything through relationships. It matters who you are connected with. It's the same here at Eurovision," added the musician, and the hall burst into laughter again.

Radovanović will have his next rehearsal on Saturday, May 5, and will perform in Lisbon during the second semi-final night on Thursday, May 10.
