David Bowie's keyboardist and longtime collaborator, Mike Garson, claims that the famous artist was warned when he would die, back in the late seventies of the last century.

In the new edition of the book "Bowie's Piano Man: The Life Of Mike Garson", author Clifford Sleper, Garson told an anecdote from the mentioned period, reports B92.

"A psychic told him exactly when he was going to die. There are a lot of them who aren't very clear, but this one was the right one. David understood it and didn't doubt it for a second. He told me about it. He said he accepted it and planned the future according to that. He still had 30-40 years to live then," Garson said.

The psychic then told Bowie to live to be 69 or 70 years old, said Garson, who played on nine of Bowie's studio albums as well as his live performances, writes NME.

David Bowie lost his battle with liver cancer on January 10, 2016, just two days after his 69th birthday.
