The Tivat World Festival begins today with the performance of the students of the Tivat Music School, on the Marshal Tito Coast, at 19 p.m., and their concerts are on the repertoire for the next two days, at the same venue and at the same time. The festival lasts until September 13, and is held in several locations, said the organizer Dalibor Ševaljević and pointed out that the program is focused on local artists, due to the epidemiological situation.
"This year we will have three venues: the beach on the Marshal Tito Coast, the summer stage of the Tivat Culture Center and the DJ stage at the beach bar "Verige". Over the past four years, the festival has been visited by more than 30 bands from around the world, and our crown is last year's WBA award for the best event in Montenegro, awarded by the National Tourism Organization of Montenegro", said Ševaljević and added that the program starts every evening on the Tivat waterfront. .
After the opening of the festival, tonight the program moves to the Summer Stage, where the "Jadran" band will perform at 20 p.m., and then DJ Bodzie will perform in the "Verige" beach bar.
The concert of the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra is organized in cooperation with the Music Center of Montenegro and will be held tomorrow at 20 pm on the summer stage of CZK Tivat.
"The tracks that we will listen to at this concert are from all over the world, with one Montenegrin track by our fellow citizen Nina Perović. On the third night of the festival, we will host the Nuova quartet with Peter Dobričanin on the summer stage.
Also, every day at the third location of the beach bar 'Verige', from 22 p.m., a local DJ will perform, today DJ Bodzie, tomorrow MR Goja, and on the third day DJ Mono", announced Ševaljević.
He pointed out that he was particularly pleased with the fact that this year cooperation was achieved with "several more authoritative institutions, namely the Ministry of Culture of Montenegro, the Music Center of Montenegro, the Tivat Culture Center and the Tivat Music School".
