Judging by the talented children who have recently presented themselves to Montenegrin and regional audiences through numerous competition shows, children's festivals, choirs and various performances, the Montenegrin music scene will be renewed in a few years.
Tamara Vujačić, Jovan Aleksić, Sara Asanović, Relja Ćetković and Lorena Janković are some of the children and teenagers who plan to engage in this business professionally and will almost certainly succeed, and fans of Anja Jestrović and Katarina Radulović predict the same, who as she says , for now he considers music only a hobby.
"I started playing music by accident, at the suggestion of a friend, and at least at my or my parents' insistence. It started with children's, festival songs, and then the big ones", explains Radulović, who at the age of 12 has nine song tracks under her belt and plans to combine them on an album.
"My motive, neither at the beginning, nor even now, is a professional career, but I try to enjoy music, play, show my other talents, but also to be of help to someone. Here I am referring to the numerous humanitarian concerts and the album that will be released with the same goal," she states.
"Also, my songs are a small contribution to children's music, they were written by great authors. The track 'Uživaj dok si djete' stood out and recently got its own video release which can be viewed on my YouTube channel. I invest a lot in education, language learning and overall, music is still my hobby for now", she is honest.
A similar opinion is shared by nine-year-old Jestrović, who is a member of the "Zvjezdice" choir and also does gymnastics.
"I think I'm still young to make a decision about my future profession, but I know that I want music to be a part of my life, even as a hobby. Now I would like to continue with music school, enroll in high school music, later in the academy and for the piano to be my vocation in life, and maybe solo singing as well", she explained.
On the other hand, Aleksić is already sure that he will be a professional musician.
"I attend two schools at the same time, primary school and music school. I can't decide which one I enjoy more, because as much as I love music, I love languages and science. Therefore, it will be very difficult for me when choosing a high school. I will certainly be involved in music professionally, but I will also continue to get a wider education," he says.
"It will be hard, I am aware, although when a person loves something and has a goal, he can achieve anything.
In any case, music is an integral part of me and it will certainly be one of my future callings", says the young singer who has three music videos "Tvoje rijeci", "Korak po korak" and "Sa mno je tako".
Fifteen-year-old high school student Vujačić, who took her first steps in the "Zvjezdice" choir, and has three children's songs, ten festivals, seven first and two second awards for interpretation, is now a member of the "D-moll" choir.
"I would like to sing, because music is my life. When I sing, I enjoy it completely and for me there is nothing more beautiful than that. Certainly, school is very important to me, because first of all I want to be educated", she answers, and Ćetković is also confident in his musical future.
"Of course, I plan to do music professionally. This is what, so far, has attracted my greatest attention and into which I have invested a lot of work and effort", says the sixth grade student of the music school "Vasa Pavić" and former member of the choir "Zvjezdice", and now of the singing school "D-moll". , who participated in children's festivals with the songs "When love warms", "Ema from the choir", "Books", "Love", "You will dream of me" and "Long live Ana".
Just as surely, the same question is answered by Asanović, who won the audience's sympathy by performing Miladin Šobić's songs, and recently joined the actors at the Montenegrin National Theater as part of the concert "On good voice - Actors sing".
"I will try to be a real professional. I made the decision because music is what I really love and I just enjoy singing, and applause is very pleasing to me," she says.
Janković also aspires to a professional career, although she is not sure in which genre she will find herself.
"I'm still not sure exactly what I want from my career, but it will definitely have something to do with singing, because I'm attending a music high school in the solo singing department, and that fulfills me to the fullest. You never know, maybe my path will be opera," hints Lorena, who also finds herself in pop, r&b and rock music, as well as her colleague and friend, Aleksić.
"Funk and r'n'b are the genres in which I find myself the most, although I perform songs from different directions, depending on the occasion, but also on the current mood. Bruno Mars' songs inspire me the most, because they are closest to my temperament and the style I want to pursue", he reveals, while Jestrović also finds himself in the rock.
"I am most attracted to pop and rock music, mostly foreign, but also domestic. I like energetic and fast songs, because they suit my temperament", says the owner of the children's songs "Sportske staze" and "Tetka", for which she was awarded at festivals.
While Ćetković singles out pop music, Asanović says she likes the genre, which is arguably not the most popular among her peers.
"I like various genres and I think that there are beautiful songs in each, but I would still single out Mediterranean music, because somehow I experience it more strongly and really enjoy it when I listen to it or sing it, I guess because we belong to such a climate", she believes, and Radulović is still one of the interlocutors of "Vijesti" who likes pop rock the most.
"I find myself in it the most when we talk about domestic music, but I adore current foreign tracks. I speak English very well and it's no problem for me to perform them," she told Vijesti.
