After introducing himself to the audience with his first single "Victorious Setup" in July, Montenegrin singer-songwriter Dejan Vuletić, who performs under the pseudonym Solosoul, has now released his first music video. The track "She" was screened, and the video, produced by Media Solution and directed by Nikolay Kosukhin, can be viewed on the YouTube service.

"She" is the second single that announces Solosoul's upcoming debut album, and as with the previous song, the singer-songwriter who graduated from the Music Academy in Cetinje and studied at the University of Salzburg writes the lyrics and music. Vuletić is one of the performers gathered under the Stivi music label, a group of musicians who have been the most active in Montenegro in the last few years, so the song was recorded in the studio of this label, under the production baton of Stefan Pantović (mix and master) and Ivan Ivanović (arrangements, played drums, guitars and piano). The guest on the song is Miladin Mićko Peruničić, who played a solo.

"I shot the video about two weeks ago on a beautiful beach by the river Zeta, in the town of Pričelje. The second location is on the way to Kuči. The filming took place in one day with music, beer, we spent a very nice day and enjoyed the work process", he revealed in an interview with "Vijesti" Solosoul.

The Montenegrin musician previously said that he has been preparing his debut album for years, which will be called "Dream and other all", and that he has so much material that he is also working on the successor to that release. Regarding the screening of the track "She", he says that it was created completely unplanned and that by chance the video got a much bigger dimension than he expected.

"It all started with a small idea to show a simple video with the song, but the ideas and possibilities increased day by day and thanks to good people, first of all thanks to Vladimir Cvijetić, the video was recorded", said Solosoul.

The previous single, "Victorious Setup" was characterized by a melancholic atmosphere, a feeling of guilt, but also a motivational message, the track was created three years ago in Vuletić's student room, and a similar intimate moment preceded the inspiration for the new song, which the singer-songwriter dedicated to his spouse .

“'She' was created on a rainy night. I was sitting at the dining room table watching my wife who was studying for an upcoming exam. The song was created very quickly, in just a few minutes," he explained.

Solosoul announced even earlier that his studio debut will contain as many as 17 songs, which is almost unprecedented in this age of dominance of EPs and singles. When exactly the whole album will be released, he could not say either then or now, but only that it can be expected that in the coming period he will continue to arrange the singles that will be on that release. I'll be relaxing and not in too much of a hurry, because I'm absorbing every moment of working on music and enjoying it.

"When we talk about wishes, I would like to release the album tomorrow, but the possibilities do not allow it. I record and release songs one after the other, as fast as possible. Each new post opens up new possibilities. People come forward and the field expands, so I enjoy every moment. I do what I love the most," he emphasizes. The global coronavirus pandemic has had a significant impact on the field of culture in this area, but also beyond, but Solosoul says that for him personally, nothing has changed significantly, except that the production conditions have been disturbed.

"As for the creation itself, the corona situation had no effect on me. The fact is that I have more free time and I use it for work itself, but when it comes to recording songs or recording videos, then barriers arise", explained the singer-songwriter.

While waiting for his debut album, the Montenegrin audience had the opportunity to learn more about his work at Rokumentarni dani. Solosoul participated in the recording of the traditional "Live Sessions" within which the mentioned festival presents and promotes local performers.

This year's edition of Rockumentary "Live Sessions" was recorded in July in the hall of Dodest KIC "Budo Tomović" in Podgorica, and in addition to the singer-songwriter, Autogeni trening, Bacili & Bellerophontes and Big Do participated.

"Being a participant in the Rokumentary Days is a success I am proud of. I was part of an excellent team, which also applies to the organizers themselves, as well as to the participants. I enjoyed every moment. The recordings of the 'Live Session' will be on the YouTube service soon, so people will be able to see how much we enjoyed ourselves on stage," said Solosoul.

He added that such achievements as participation in Rokumentary Days are what motivated him to start recording music and release his first single.

"'Victorious setup' is my first recorded song and I didn't know what to expect when it comes to the audience's reaction. Everything that happened after the announcement, including the Rokuemntary days, were the moments that made me start recording the music that I had been writing for years. I have to be satisfied," he assures.

The band is waiting for better times

He creates solosoul music and performs alone, when he records songs, someone from Stevie Studio often comes to his aid to play an instrument that is needed, and the Montenegrin musician said even when the first single was released that he would like to assemble a band with which he would perform his music. However, there was no progress in that field, although it is difficult to achieve it in this everyday life crippled by the coronavirus.

"I haven't found people for the band yet. Thoughts about the band are actually on the back burner, precisely because of the whole situation. Practice and performances are not possible, so that story is waiting for better times. The fact is that I am recording all this in order to one day go on stage and play my music, and why do I hope that one day I will get there", the singer-songwriter pointed out.
